This shirt is the France retro cycling shirt of the brand Magliamo. This vintage racing jersey is made from 100% pure Italian merino wool. The retro cycling shirt of France is based on the old cycling shirts that were worn in the 1950s. As worn by French cyclist Roger Rivière. The cycling jersey is in the colors of France and is blue, white and red. The top and bottom of the vintage cycling jersey are blue and these two colors are interrupted by horizontal white and red stripes. The sleeves are white with red. Furthermore, the cycling jersey has a large polo collar and a neck with two buttons. In the middle of the chest (on the white part) there are two pockets with a button. The characteristic pockets are also applied to the back on the bottom of the cycling jersey!

The sponsor banner of St-Raphael Geminiani is supplied separately with the jersey and can be sewn onto the cycling jersey yourself.

This cycling jersey is an ode to the golden times of cycling and to the artisanal art of handmade cycling clothing from the past. The jersey can be worn during sports, but is also absolutely suitable to wear as a unique casual piece of clothing. Ideal for the true cycling fan. For both men and women!

Roger Rivière was a French cyclist and Jacques Anquetil's biggest competitor in the late 1950s. Rivière was a three-time world champion in pursuit, held the title of champion of France and twice set the hour record at the Vigorelli velodrome in Milan. In 1957 he turned professional with the Saint-Raphaël-Géminiani team. On his debut in the Tour de France in 1959, Roger Riviere won two time trials and took fourth place in the general classification. That same year he won two stages of the Vuelta a España, where he finished sixth. A contender for the Tour de France in 1960, he won three stages before falling into a ravine while descending the Col de Perjuret. This fall forced Roger Rivière to end his professional career at the age of 24.

PLEASE NOTE: The Magliamo retro cycling shirt has a tailored fit and is therefore slightly smaller. When in doubt between two sizes, choose the largest size.
