This is the official COPA retro shirt from Juventus, based on the shirt from the 1984-85 season. This Juventus retro shirt features the signature black and white vertical stripes. This shirt is characterized by the sponsor ARISTON on the chest. Ariston was the main sponsor of the Oude Dame between 1979 and 1989. In addition, the shirt has a white polo collar and a deep v-neck. The piping is also white. On the left chest the colors of Italy and 2 champion stars below. The club was allowed to wear these after the 1983-1984 season when Juventus won the Serie A 20 times.
In the 1976-77 season, Juventus reached the final of the European Cup I. This final was overshadowed by the Heysel drama. In Brussels Juventus won 1-0 against Liverpool. Platini used a penalty in the 58th minute. Other famous players from coach Trapattoni's team were Boniek, Rossi and Tardelli. Later that year in 1985, Juventus would also win the Club Team World Cup by beating Argentinos Juniors on penalties.
