About Toulouse FC in the 1982-1983 Season
The 1982-1983 season marked Toulouse FC's return to the French top division after winning the Division 2 title the previous year. Managed by Pierre Cahuzac, the newly promoted side made an impressive start by winning its opening two league matches and briefly topping the Division 1 table.
After an excellent start, Toulouse experienced a more difficult period but recovered strongly during the second half of the campaign. The club eventually finished in an impressive 11th place, comfortably securing its top-flight status.
