This is the Italy retro shirt 1982, based on the away shirt that the Italians wore during the World Cup '82. Italy won the World Cup in Spain in 1982. The Italy retro shirt is predominantly white and has a classic v-neck with a polo collar in blue. In addition, this collar is equipped with the colors of the Italian flag (red, white and green). These colors are also reflected in the trim at the bottom of the sleeves. The left chest is equipped with the vintage logo of the Italian Football Association. During the 1982 World Cup, the Italians survived the First Round quite easily. In the second round, Italy was linked to Brazil and Argentina. Italy was successful twice in the counter-attack via Tardelli and Cabrini, resulting in 2-1 winning. Brazil needed a draw against Italy, but went full on the attack. The final now went between Italy and West Germany and was played in the Sandiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid. The first half was cautious, with the only 'highlight' being a missed penalty kick from Cabrini. Rossi took a 1-0 lead in the second half. Then Tardelli and Altobelli scored the 2 and 3-0. Just before the end, Breitner scored the West German goal, 3-1.
